Pita Mediterranean Street Food Covington

I ordered the chicken schawarma platter and my wife had the gyro platter. We also shared the Mezza appetizer. The food was delicious but we received our appetizer after our main platters and in a to go box even though we dined in. Overall I loved it and would go back. Now for the constructive criticism. Even though I understand they are new and I visited on a Friday at dinner time, I think there are a couple things to work on. First, when the restaurant is busy, it is important that the employees cooking the food all look busy. Even if they are waiting on something to finish, perception is everything. I heard multiple families begin to complain about the wait and this probably could have been avoided if there was a bit less laughing and joking between staff and concentrating on the food. Second, when our food finally arrived (25 minuets after receipt time stamp) a shift supervisor brought us our food and said “I know I know it’s finally here.” We weren’t glaring or anything and she mainly said it in a joking manner and I took it extremely well but others will definitely not. It’s best to apologize for the wait. I will give props though, I noticed the staff taking time to clean and pick up trash as they went along their duties and we were asked multiple times if we enjoyed our food. We did enjoy it very much. The criticism I give is only so they can improve. I wish them much success!

Good food! Had the grilled shrimp wrap. It was tasty. I really like the rice that they serve as a side. My wife had the falafel. It was also tasty. Their hummus, baba ganoush, and Lebanee are also excellent.
